The Emergency Preparedness Committee of the Barton Hills Neighborhood Association (BHNA) will sponsor a Wildfire Safety Class, led by the Austin Fire Department, in the Parish Hall of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 2128 Barton Hills Dr., on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:30 until 1:00.  The class will be followed by lunch in the room, provided by BHNA.  Then the group will visit two nearby properties for a practical application of the lesson.  We will aim to be finished by 3:00.

The class size is limited to 25.  If you want to take part and have not already notified me, please send me an e-mail message at ccraigsmith@icloud.com to be included.
