Azie Morton (between Barton Hills Drive and Barton Springs Road) will be closed from 11 AM to 11:59 PM each day of the festival. Barton Springs Road through Zilker Park will be closed starting Thursday at 8 PM until 11:59 PM on Sunday, both weekends. No vehicular traffic will be allowed on Barton Springs Road from South Lamar to Sterzing from 9 PM to 11 PM both weekends.  For load in/out Barton Springs Road will have varying lane closures on Saturday, Sept. 30 and Monday, Oct. 2 through Thursday, Oct. 5 and Monday, Oct. 16 through Wednesday, Oct. 18.

BIKING / HIKING
Bike racks are located in the park outside of both entry areas. See the festival website for details on specific locations! Bring your own lock! Make sure you bike has reflectors/ and to wear reflective gear.

Submit 311 requests for dockless devices that are blocking, impeding or causing safety issues in the City. This will allow the city to have a documented record of issues regarding operations. Dockless devices can be reported via the Austin 311 app using the ‘Other’ SR and mention bike/scooter. When reporting – it is helpful to have the exact location, and an image of the issue. Zilker Park Open Areas And Barton Spring Pool Details

• OPEN AT ALL TIMES – Barton Springs Pool is open AT ALL TIMES during normal hours. During concert days preferred close in parking is protected at the south gate lot off Robert E. Lee for pool swimmers. This includes ADA accessible parking.
• CLOSED ON EVENT DAYS ONLY – Zilker Park – Rugby Field, parking lots, playscape, polo field.
  – Open weekdays until 10 pm Thursday night before each concert these spaces will be open. Expect higher traffic on Thursdays.
  – Austin Nature and Science Center and Zilker Botanical Gardens are ONLY closed on the Friday-Sunday concert period.

OTHER SPACES:

• Auditorium Shores Middle Lawn, and Butler Park will be open at all times for park users.

Dedicated Neighborhood ROVING Patrol

1. 10 officers and 1 sergeant – Roving 10 am until approximately 11 pm daily. This dedicated unit will be roving and responding to issues/concerns throughout the impacted neighborhoods.

Helpful Tip: Want to save parking near your house? Put your vehicle curbside, in the unsigned area of the road! Remember to face the correct direction of travel! Then your guests can use your driveway!

ACL Fest is scheduled for October 4-6 and 11-13 this year at Zilker Park. Below you’ll find the road closure and traffic control maps. Not everyone is on the listserve and if you could help direct fellow neighbors to the information it would be most appreciated.

ACL does have dedicated patrol stationed in the area during the festival (the number below doesn’t get activated until right before the event). It does take you to Command Central which can dispatch fairly quickly. Additionally 911 is always available depending on your situation.

During this time, a portion of the areas in and surrounding Zilker Park will be accessible to the public including Barton Springs, Rugby Field and the Botanical Gardens and Austin Nature and Science Center.

PARKING

Due to the increase in restricted parking areas, appropriate signage will be installed earlier, as well as allowing for time for corrections prior to the event commencing.

These signs are valid upon installation. Please adhere to the signage. The restricted parking area signage will stay UP between weekends. They remain valid during this time period.
