On November 5, 2012, the recently formed BHNA Committee dedicated to Neighborhood park improvements submitted a Master Plan document to the City of Austin for consideration and approval. This reflects a year’s worth of community input and engagement, as well as the technical and professional expertise of many Barton Hill neighbors. I hope that a good number of you will join us on this Saturday’s work day at the Homedale Trail entry. It definitely needs our TLC, and we will provide Maria’s tacos to help build stamina for the tasks, and tools and leaders to facilitate the work. You just come in your long shirt and pants and work shoes and with your collaborative spirit. We always have fun and feel accomplished as we survey our work afterwards.
