St. Mark’s Concert on the Deck

St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School would like to invite all of our Barton Hills neighbors to our fourth annual Concert on the Deck to help raise money for the Day School Scholarship Fund. The concert takes place on Sunday, March 28th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m at 2128 Barton Hills Drive.

This year’s event will feature a children’s concert with Ms. Sybi Ward and then the bluegrass beat of the Pistol Love Family Band. It’s fun for the whole family. Popsicles and cold drinks will be for sale. Bring your lawn chairs and “dancing shoes” to join us for a relaxing afternoon of music and dancing! Donations are graciously accepted.

Greenbelt Guardian Work Days

We have set the Greenbelt Guardian work days for the rest of this year. They are:

April 24, which corresponds with the date for It’s My Park! Day, a citywide event sponsored by Austin Parks Foundation and the City of Austin.

July 16, which features the courageous who come out to work in the long, hot dog days of summer.

October 16, the week-end before the National Trails Conference being held in Austin, which will feature a field trip to our Homedale Trail as an exemplary “natural public space in an urban environment”.
